The NBJ Group was established over 40 years ago – although its current success dates back to its rebirth in late 1999 when an MBO led by Chief Executive Officer Neal Fox supported by co-shareholder and Director Mark Treasure allowed for the group to be restructured and re-energised.

Both Neal and Mark joined NBJ in the early 1990’s and ran successful Divisions within the group prior to assuming total control.

Their shared ethos that successful broking business is founded on the strength of relationship with clients and markets alike is the cornerstone of the Group’s success. This is achieved by employing only the highest quality staff who are dedicated to delivering excellent service.

 
The Group now handles in excess of £35million gross written premium delivering exceptional service to clients throughout the world. We are an independent privately owned group operating out of two offices in the South East of England. Our 75 staff work from either office in the City of London or Bromley in Kent.

52 Lime St (right across from Lloyd’s) is the base for 25 of our staff who specialize in broking diverse risks into Lloyds and the surrounding insurance markets.

NBJ House in Bromley is the base for our Corporate, SME and Personal Lines teams dealing with a range of clients throughout the UK.
 
 

 







We are very proud of our staff and believe them to be the fulcrum on which our business success is based. They are: loyal (75% have in excess of 10 years service with the Group); they are experts in their field and they boast a retention rate of client’s instructions year on year, in excess of 90%.

At NBJ we believe passionately that a broking operation such as ours needs the personal touch to flourish. With a low turnover of staff we are able to offer long term partnerships - which we know from discussions with our clients is a major benefit.

The expertise we have in our Group is wide ranging and full of experience – from aviation to credit insurance; from UK property and construction to personal household and motor; from wholesale services to schemes for high risk liability; we are very niche and we are very good.
